Sharing My First iPad Design Tutorial

I’m sharing my first iPad design tutorial online today. It has been featured in the Cue apparel blog and I couldn’t be more excited about it. In the tutorial I will walk you through creating this daisy design. Firstly, I show you step by step instructions on how to create this 4 layered design for your social media channels. This process will teach you how to use basic functions in both Procreate and Affinity Designer for iPad.

This is the finished design for the tutorial. It contains text that says - Together we can weather the storm.

Secondly, you will hopefully learn about the tools in Procreate and Affinity Designer iPad as a result.

My tutorial is featured on the Cue Apparel blog blog here.

Learn basic tools in Procreate & Affinity Designer iPad

For my first iPad design tutorial I have created a very simple tutorial that will show you how to set up a template in Procreate and create a background. You will then place this background into a new document in Affinity Designer. I will then show you how to add a frame to create depth and add some text. Finally, I have created two SVG files of the daisies pictured above that you will be able to download. If you simply place them into your document you will then be able to complete the finished design.

As a result of taking part in this tutorial I hope you will enjoy using two of my favourite apps. And also, get to see how well they work together giving you more tools in your design toolbox.

We’d love to see what results you are able to achieve by following the instructions. It is definitely open to some artistic flare, so do remember to tag us on social media. We’d love to take a look.
